The fridge did not work and we found out the hard way. Turned the dial to cool, put groceries in and had to throw Everything!! $30 worth

Quiet and clean. The American is right off the highway at 94 and 25. Easy to find. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Price was very reasonable.

an overnight stay The hotel was okay, but nothing exceptional. My only complaints would be that it seemed to take a long time to get the attention of staff at checkout, and it seemed to be pretty expensive for such an average experience.

Comfortable bed, but room smelled funny in a bad way, and couch had stains all over it. Complimentary breakfast was very nice as well as the pool and hot tub. Room was over priced and smelled , bad, maybe like old smoking room or something. Room was clean but had stains all over the couch. Gross. Should be remodeled for the price we paid. Kind of awkward to get to the hotel, off the main drag. Not a good entrance. Drove around for 5 minutes trying to get into the parking lot.

Perfect with a pet This is a great hotel tucked back behind the Econo Lodge away from the main road which makes it very quiet. My cat and I had a wonderful stay and the breakfast included good hot food.

College tour stop over This hotel was average. Nothing special. We stopped here for a night prior to a college tour the next day. This is an old hotel and the room showed its age. The sink didn't drain very well so the water backed up some. The beds were okay, not extra comfortable, but comfortable enough to sleep pretty well. Took granddtr to college and stayed over This is our 2nd trip to Menomonie and our last hotel (EconoInn) we stayed at was horrible. It was very musty smelling and didn't feel clean. ****The staff of AmericInn were very friendly and it smelled so clean the minute you walked into the hotel. The housekeeper left a note wishing us a good time during our stay her name was Courtney. We felt very welcomed.

Basketball stay Hotel was clean and pleasant. Breakfast was OK, but went out for breakfast second day.
