Recovery is what you make it, nobody can make you get better. But if you really do want to make a change in your life and get better than I have nothing but good things to say about Urban Recovery. Amazing and compassionate. Understand what a family might be going through. They answered questions and calls through out a holiday weekend. Even went as far as picking up a family member first thing in the morning. Also helped with after care. Which personally I believe is the most important part of the process. Top notch in every way. Anyone who is ready and willing this is a great first stop. Joe is a genuinely caring on top of everything. Thank you..
This place was horrible. I was in detox and Stephanie who has no idea how to speak to patients proceeds to tell me I'd been transferred to rehab on the third day. I'm like what? I haven't even finished with the taper not for another 3 days. She continues to yell at me and say you're now rehab you're moving upstairs. Got put in a room with 9 women. Was about to take a bed and was informed that someone else has pissed on the plastic slab for a mattress and it was never cleaned! The tech was right there looked at her and did ab... read more
Kai is an Amazing Executive Director, she runs a really great facility! All the employees are extremely respectful to all the clients and treat them all really well! It's a beautiful thing to witness first hand! URBAN RECOVERY keep doing great things! One day at a time !
Joe N brought me on board at Urban as a trauma informed yoga instructor about 2 years ago. I also co-lead Sound Bath meditations with my collaborator at the facility. I am impressed with Urban's wellness offerings and their staff's dedication to helping clients develop skills and tools to stay in recovery.
