Dr. Adams is very professional and exhibits a keen knowledge of dermatology and dermatological research. She listens intently to the patient, thoroughly analyzes and assesses the condition, and prescribes various treatment options. Also, she does not rush appointments. Therefore, I highly recommend her as a dermatologist.
During my first visit, I shared with Dr. Adams the reason for seeking her help. I informed her that I’ve been to a dermatologist before and I felt like a lab rat there and that my goal is to truly do a way with the acne that I’ve been dealing with for many years. She carefully assess my skin and talk through all of my options. It’s been over a month since my first visit, and my acne has cleared up & my skin is visibly clearer.

Was looking for an African American dermatologist to have some skin tags and moles evaluated and removed. Dr. Adams was accepting new patients and I was able to get an appointment quickly. She saw me, assessed what I showed her and the best course of action. Dermatology is a cash praactice as most things that need to be done are not covered by insurance as they are seen as cosmetic. Dr. Adams has a very pleasant personality, she took her time to listen to my concerns and explain things. Investigated and treated my condition successfully. I plan to have her do my yearly skin check up.
Dr Adams addressed all my skin issues. She told me which were actual health conditions and which are only appearance factors.
Dr. Adams is knowledgeable, skillful and passionate about her work. She caught a tiny melanoma that the head of derm surgery at Hopkins told me was the smallest he ever had seen diagnosed. Her interpersonal style is warm, attentive and kind. She is aware that she has had some challenges finding skillful, reliable support staff who reflect her high standards.
Dr. Adams has an excellent bedside manner. I loved that she offered over the counter simple products instead of trying to sell me on pricey skincare.
