All around 5-star experience! First off, the food here is amazing, the XLB and the fried dumplings especially! On top of that the woman who took my order was super friendly and had such an amazing personality. I look forward to this being my new regular spot!!!

This is one of those hidden gems. Located behind the ironwood mall area. It's a spot for the locals to go to who work in the area. These folks are friendly respectful and prompt with service and quality. Their good food is reasonably priced and delicious. Don't let this one pass you by. I've had their noodles, and meat on rice combos and they're quite good. I can't say enough about their house made Shanghai noodles. The fresh and perfect mouth feel. Thank you Mama's dumplings 💗 you'll be seeing me soon.
I heard the pan fried buns are good that’s why I visited.
I need to order at the counter and pay the bill upfront, so sure I did that.
Consider there is no service, I gave 10% tips in dollar and skip the cents.
After the receipt comes out, the owner looks at the receipt not happy. Complaint to me that is not even 10%. I said what? Oh you mean I’m 20 cent short?
She said yeah! But thats ok, next time just make sure to give at least 10% ok?

This was my first stop after arriving in Vancouver. I have wanted to try this place for a bit but never made it in previous trips.
Located in a quieter area of Richmond, it's a small little restaurant on the corner of a complex. I was actually surprised it wasn't in a busier spot. The restaurant utilizes a order at the counter and take a number back to your table system.

Came to Mama's dumplings several times before. Got the impression of a clean restaurant with decent food and reasonable price. We went there yesterday lunch at 1:35 pm with only one table and the owner being the server. After I ordered at the counter, the owner demanded 10% tips.
