Dr. Wolford is able to be highly paid because he is extremely good at what he does. He is a senior professor at Baylor College of Dentistry. I believe that holding a teaching position contributes to sharpness and currency in a physician, and would not see anyone else for maxillofacial issues. Dr. Wolford has a one person practice. When surgery runs long, office patients do experience delays. Dr. Wolford is amazing. He has reconstructed both of my TMJ's and reversed all the prior complications. I wouldn't have another surgeon, he is the best. I am pain free for the first time in many years! I know people complain about the expense, but to me, it was money well spent. His office staff have been quite helpful to me also.

I owe my life to Dr. Wolford. He kept me aprized of everything going on and I trusted him completely. The after care has been excellant too. I cannot believe the difference in my life since my surgery. I wouldn't do what he did for less. Anyone who chooses not to use him because of what few have said, are missing a chance to be helped by a genius.

Very skilled surgeon. Friendly and helpful with recovery. However, he agreed not to bill us for some of the procedures in the surgery but did not keep his word. This created problems with our credit and complicated our payment. Recommend that you get everything in writing before going into surgery.
